Sonia Carreira
Dentist - GDC No 203722.
Sonia studied at the College of Medicine, University of Coimbra. Qualifying in July 2007, then working in private practices in Portugal until 2011.
She came to the UK in 2011, to join Dentalcare Berinsfield. Her specialist areas of orthodontics and children’s dentistry are valuable to our practice. Sonia continues post graduate professional development, ensuring her skills are at the highest level.
Emily Pate BDS
Dentist - GDC No 265131.
Emily graduated from King’s College London with BDS (Hons) and believes in giving high quality care to patients.
She particularly enjoys restorative dentistry and focuses on creating happy and comfortable relationships with patients, to minimise anxieties and help patients to make the right choices for their care.
Patricia Garcia Florencio BDS
Dentist - GDC No 267300.
Has specialist interest in Invisalign.
Patricia obtained her BDS from the Royal college of surgeons in the United Kingdom. having done her 1st dental degree in the Dominican Republic in 2008, she considers to be able to treat patients in the UK a great privilege.
She enjoys all areas of dentistry equally whilst still eager to find the one to specialise in, the ultimate goal being well rounded care for her patients. She speaks English, Spanish and French.
Zenfira Haigh
Dentist - GDP No 263627.
Zenfira has been with dentalcare since October 2014 she was previously a head nurse here.
Zenfira is now qualified as a dentist and is now waiting for her NHS performer number. She is doing therapy and hygiene work at the moment until her NHS performer number comes through any time now.
Zenfira qualified as a dentist in Russia, she had her own private practice before coming to England. She enjoys all aspects of dentistry and is planning to do an Invisalign course this year. She speaks English and Russian.
Gita Nejad
Dentist - GDC No 229301.
Gita has has been in dentistry since 2012.
Lucy Cooper
Dental Hygienist & Therapist
Lucy obtained a Diploma in Dental Hygiene and Therapy from The School of Dental Hygiene at The Eastman Dental Hospital, a leading training centre.
Her skills in educating and motivating patients are part of the great end of treatment responses she enjoys. Lucy’s skill with nervous patients are equally helpful, seeing them change to confident visitors, with a smile to match.
Marie Keenan
Practice Manager
Marie initially served as the receptionist at Berinsfield, although her valuable experience soon led to her managing the practice.
With nine years of dedicated effort in a variety of roles and practices prior to joining us, Marie’s support has been invaluable in running an efficient service for patients. The people she ensures are at the heart of the practice.
Nicola Soden
Head Receptionist
Nicola has lived in Berinsfield for a number of years and was a patient at our practice before joining us, an ideal perspective to have on behalf of others.
Ensuring patients enjoy a positive visit to our practice is Nicola’s priority. Helped by her natural empathy and communication skills, ensuring colleagues are aware of patient needs is a key part of a receptionist’s role.
Jodie Plowman
Receptionist
Jodie Plowman joined Dentalcare on the 28.8.18. Jodie has lived locally for a number of years in Berinsfield and has previously worked in the village before. Even through she is new to the team Jodie knows a lot of our patients which helps with meeting and greeting them at the desk, making them feel at ease. Also to make their visit a positive experience.
Danielle Chewings
Head Dental Nurse - GDC No
Danielle began working in the field of dentistry in 2013, gaining experience in a range of treatment areas before qualifying as a dental nurse.
By joining Dentalcare Berinsfield, Danielle has come home, having been born and raised in the village. This natural fit is reflected in the fantastic care and personal support she offers all our patients.
Srijana Gurung

Dental nurse here for 6 months is a qualified dentist waiting to start NHS treatments
Eleanor Paxford
Apprentice Dental Nurse
Eleanor started working for Dentalcare group on the 10.9.18. She is doing her course with Tempdent at the moment. She passed 2 exams so far which she is really enjoying working here as a trainee nurse. She is due to finish her course April 2020. Eleanor is very keen to learn new things in dentistry and enjoys working with all dentists to gain more experience. Eleanor has grown in confidence and is always willing to learn more.
